At Wired2Learn Academy, located in Post Falls, Idaho, we believe in addressing the root cause of learning disabilities. Our cognitive training program uses the Arrowsmith Program® to help students in North Idaho strengthen and develop their cognitive abilities. By focusing on neuroplasticity, our students experience permanent changes that enable them to become independent, lifelong learners.

Transformative Cognitive Exercises for Students with Learning Disabilities

We use the Arrowsmith Program®, which is a suite of cognitive programs designed to address a series of cognitive functions underlying a range of specific learning disabilities. This kind of dedicated training drives positive changes in the brain. New connections are made between neurons, while existing connections can be strengthened and new neurons can grow.

In our cognitive classroom, students address the root of their learning challenges. The purpose of the Arrowsmith Program® is to provide cognitive training, based on neuroplasticity, for students where they strengthen and develop their cognitive abilities, resulting in permanent change so that they will become independent, life-long learners.

The Arrowsmith Program® consists of up to 12 cognitive exercises that strengthen core cognitive skills that are the underlying causes of learning disabilities. Each student’s individualized program includes only the exercises needed to address their specific learning difficulties. Research indicates that up to 30 years after completion of the program, students have maintained their cognitive improvements. Once the improvement is in place, the individual maintains this gain by using the cognitive area in everyday functioning.
